Manufacturing Craftsmanship
How a Dress is Born
A look inside our manufacturing processes. We combine the precision of digital patterning with the timeless quality of single-piece hand assembly.
Drafting the silhouette
1. Digital & Hand Patterning
Every dress design starts as a master physical paper pattern, which we digitize to scale precisely across custom sizing parameters.
- Proportional scaling algorithms
- Individual grade rules by garment
- Bespoke height adjustments
Premium organic textiles
2. Certified Sourcing
We work directly with heritage mills in France and Italy to source organic silk crepes, Belgian linen, and certified wools.
- Standard 100 OEKO-TEX certified
- Traceable flax origins
- Zero-plastic natural bindings
Respecting fabric grain
3. Single-Layer Cutting
Unlike mass garment factories, we cut each dress one by one. This preserves the grain lines and prevents dress twisting.
- Grainline matching controls
- Pattern-matching at seams
- Minimal scrap waste practices
Luxury french finishings
4. Atelier Stitching
Our dressmakers construct each garment using french seams, blind stitched hems, and hand-bound closures.
- 18 stitches-per-inch density
- Clean enclosed interior seams
- Individual press-iron finishing

ACTIVE POKISOKI
“Only cut on grain, only stitch to last.”
“Our single-layer cutting method requires 30% more time, but ensures the dress fits gracefully without twisting after dry-cleanings.”
