Ethical Manufacturing
Sustainability & Transparency
“At Pokisoki, we believe that luxury clothing should never carry a hidden cost for the planet or the craftsmen who sew them.”
1. Traceable Organic Fibers
Every meter of fabric in our catalog is fully traceable. Our Belgian linen is sourced from Master of Linen certified farmers in Flanders, grown using natural rainwater and zero chemical nitrates. Our Mulberry silks are certified under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), ensuring toxic-free silkworm feeding and natural vegetable dye processes in Como, Italy.
2. Fair Tailor Compensation
Our physical manufactory operates under strict European labor codes. Every master tailor and seamstress on our floor is paid a fair living wage (averaging 35% above regional minimum baselines), receives full pension contributions, and works in light-filled, ergonomically optimized stations. We do not contract or outsource our sewing queue.
3. Zero-Waste Tailoring
Unlike mass-market fashion that overproduces stock by 40%, Pokisoki operates on a custom-manufacturing queue. We pattern and cut dresses individually based on actual customer configurations. Any structural scrap pieces left over from our single-layer block cutting are collected and donated to local weaving guilds to create secondary upcycled materials.
Our Packaging Pledge
All Pokisoki garments are packed and shipped in 100% plastic-free containers. We use compostable cornstarch dustbags, unbleached recycled cardboard boxes, and natural cotton tie ribbons which are fully reusable.
